The Cobra® Hybrid 8-18 is a professional-grade concealed decking fastener engineered for composite decking boards on softwood timber joist subframes. The bi-material construction — an asymmetric stainless steel fin combined with a high-density polypropylene honeycomb body — gives the clip both the structural holding strength of stainless steel and the controlled flexibility of engineered polymer, which means it respects and controls the natural expansion and contraction of composite decking boards rather than fighting against it.
Compatible with most grooved composite decking boards from 23 to 25mm thick — including Everdeck® — and designed for easy board removal without damage to the clip or the board if access is ever needed. Each pack contains 90 clips with pre-installed Torx 15 head stainless steel self-drilling screws, plus a driver bit — everything needed to get straight to work without sourcing separate hardware. No pre-drilling required.
