The Zenith Class 3 Galvanised Metal Screw at 8G x 35mm is a countersunk self-drilling metal screw designed for applications where the head needs to sit completely flush through a metal surface — such as fixing hinges or brackets where the screw passes through a metal hole. The smooth (unribbed) countersunk head is the key detail here: unlike ribbed countersunk heads that can catch on metal edges, this smooth profile passes cleanly through metal components and sits flat against the surface without any proud finish.
At 35mm, it offers 5mm more penetration than the 30mm version — suited to slightly thicker steel sections or multi-layer metal fixing where extra depth helps. The self-drilling point drives directly into steel without pre-drilling, and the Class 3 galvanised coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance for external use. Supplied in a 50-pack.
