The Durawall UC100 Galvanised Steel H Post is the foundation on which your concrete sleeper retaining wall is built. Manufactured from Grade 300 galvanised steel and hot dipped to 600g/m² in accordance with Australian standards, these posts are engineered to handle the lateral load demands of concrete sleeper retaining walls in residential, commercial, and civil applications; delivering structural integrity and long-term performance you can rely on for decades.
The UC100 H section profile accepts concrete sleepers on both sides, making it the standard choice for straight retaining wall runs. Each post is hot dipped galvanised for superior corrosion resistance, not just surface coated, so the protection goes all the way through and holds up in even the most demanding outdoor environments including coastal Queensland conditions.
Available in a range of heights to suit walls from garden bed level right through to full boundary retaining applications. As a general rule, select a post length that is double the intended wall height; so for a 1m high wall, a minimum 2m post is required to achieve the correct embedment depth for structural performance.
