The Durawall Hampton Stone Concrete Sleeper brings the refined, classic aesthetic of natural stone to your retaining wall without the cost, weight, or inconsistency that comes with quarried material. The Hampton Stone surface texture replicates the appearance of dressed stone with a clean, structured finish that suits contemporary and traditional home styles equally, adding genuine kerb appeal to what is otherwise a purely functional structure.
Beneath the surface, the engineering is identical to the rest of the Durawall range and that's the point. Manufactured from 40MPa concrete and reinforced with 2 x N12 Australian steel reo bars, each sleeper is built to retain walls up to 4.0m high with a design life of 60 years. Every sleeper is produced to exact dimensions, independently tested, and inspected before leaving the yard so every unit that arrives on site is identical to the last, giving you the uniform, professional finish that sets a Durawall wall apart from the rest.
A premium full depth colour pigment is used throughout the concrete mix — not just on the surface — ensuring the Hampton Stone finish remains UV stable and weather resistant year after year without fading, chipping, or requiring any maintenance. For properties within 1km of the ocean, rivers, or canals, hot dipped galvanised reo bar sleepers are available for superior long-term corrosion resistance in coastal conditions.
